The Department of Education has intensified its Computerization Program to its extent to cope up with the rising demand for ICT Literacy Skills Development for Teachers. DepEd reformed the Curriculum under the K-12 Program in order to meet the needs of the Techno-Generation Learners of the 21st Century.
The SDO-Malabon City held a 3-day Training Workshop for School ICT, LIS and LRMDS Coordinators. It was held on August 10-12, 2016 at the Regional Educational Learning Center in Marikina City. There were 65 participants under the supervision of ICT Officer, Mr. Gilbert Manucduc.
Eloquent speakers discussed noteworthy topics which include Designing Program for Google drive, Mail Merging and Vlook up for advance MS Word and Excel, Web Content, Web Designing using WIX online tools, software and apps. The line of presenters were from Quipper School, Mustard Seed- Distributor of NComputing System and Felta Incorporated for ROBOTICS.
The Seminar-Workshop was only a part of the Continuous Program on Computer Literacy of the SDO- Malabon City. We are all challenged to continuously improve our skills, animate our world and intensify ICT in our respective schools. It’s a global trend that we can’t help but to deal with, everyday.
